SOLO ROWING
To The Solo Rower
Being a solo rower can be an incredibly demanding and adventurous endeavour, requiring significant physical and mental strength, as well as expert navigation and survival skills. Solo Rowing faces unique challenges, including prolonged isolation, unpredictable weather conditions, and the need for complete self-reliance while at sea.
Throughout the journey, the journey of solo rowers must be prepared to handle emergencies, navigate effectively, and endure long periods of solitude and physical exertion. During the crossing — which can take anywhere from 30 to 100 days — a solo rower cannot receive any repairs, assistance, food, or water, relying entirely on preparation and resilience.
